The explosion of early-summer holes-in-one continued at local golf courses Wednesday and Thursday.

Jay Levasseur used a 7-iron to find the cup on the 168-yard No. 8 at Springbrook Golf Club in Leeds. Bob Tremblay witnessed the shot.

Martindale Country Club of Auburn produced a pair of gems on No. 4. Gail Cailler used a 3-wood at the hole, which plays 140 yards for the ladies. Dave Collins covered the 170-yard men’s distance with a 6-iron.

In all, 11 holes-in-one have been reported to the Sun Journal in the last seven days.
