LEWISTON — Paul and Louise Potvin of Lewiston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Valerie Potvin, to Nicholas Libby, son of Paige and Valarie Libby of Sebago.

Miss Potvin is a graduate of Lewiston High School and received an associate degree from Southern Maine Community College. She is currently a quality assurance technician.

Mr. Libby is a graduate of Bonny Eagle High School and is currently serving in the U.S. Navy as an aviation mechanic instructor at the naval air station in Pensacola, Fla.

The wedding is planned for Sept. 4 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lewiston.
