Logan

LISBON FALLS — A surprise party was held recently for Dean and Margaret Logan of Lisbon Falls on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. Party hosts were children of the couple, Gwen and Rick Rioux and Dean H. Logan.

The gathering was held at the Slovak Club in Lisbon Falls. Gold flowers and balloons decorated the hall and a wedding album and many pictures were displayed.

Mr. Logan and the former Margaret Stewart were married June 11, 1960, at the Lisbon Falls Baptist Church. In addition to their two children, their grandchildren are Matt Rioux, Bobby Jean Logan and Nate Rioux.

Mrs. Logan worked for 30 years at M. Grumbacher. She is a member of the Lisbon United Methodist Church.

Mr. Logan worked 34 years at the Brunswick Naval Air Station and is a member of the Lisbon United Methodist Church, Ancient York Lodge and Lisbon Fish and Game.

Original wedding attendants present were Larry Stewart, Patty Elwell, Shirley Harmon and Candy Mills.

Guests attended from Dexter, Bowdoin, the Lisbon area and Toronto, Ontario.
