LEWISTON – Benjamin Stephen Knight, 73, of Raymond, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. Benjamin, or Ben as he was known, was born in Raymond to George S. and Lula (Spiller) Knight on July 16, 1945.
He is survived by his wife Paula of Raymond; two daughters, Tammy Knight Ureche (Douglas) of Poland and Mary M. Knight Myers (Robert) of Raymond; grandson, Adam Ureche of Baton Rouge, La.; sisters, Phyllis Richardson of Connecticut., Gertrude Tenney of Florida, and Carol Tripp (John) of Florida. He was predeceased by his son Benjamin Stephen Knight, II; his parents; and his brothers, George C. and Charles B.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Poland Town Hall, 1231 Maine Street, Poland. All are welcome to attend.
