LISBON FALLS – Harold J. Plourde, 75, of Lisbon Falls, passed away at home on Tuesday Jan. 8, 2019, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Portland, on April 7, 1943, a son of the late Dennis and Mary (Cyr) Plourde. He was married to Debra Lee Matchett-Plourde. He worked for over 27 years at Bath Iron Works as a Grinder-Chipper, before retiring in 2005. He was a member of The Pastime Club and Eagles Club, of Lewiston. He enjoyed playing pool, Karaoke, hunting, fishing and he was an awesome card player. In his younger days, he  was a bouncer and bartender at The Manoir, Royale and Round House Hotel and bars. He was a huge Patriots fan who enjoyed watching football with his wife, Debra. Harold was well known as a comedian and practical joker who always had a good comeback to any comment. Best of all, he was a very special guy and great friend to all who knew him.

Harold is survived by his wife, Debra Matchett-Plourde of Lisbon Falls; daughters, Wendy Gagnon and husband, Patrick of Lewiston, Buffy Plourde of Steuben, son, Ricky Plourde, two stepsons, Jason Matchett and wife, Tanya of Lisbon, Chadd Matchett and partner Mandy of Florida; sister, Priscilla Smith of Florida, two brothers, Carlton and Robert Plourde of Lewiston; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, Seann Sampson and wife, Christine of Florida

He was predeceased by his parents; three sisters, Cora Donahue, Rita Plourde and an infant sister named Rita Plourde, four brothers, Roger, Rodrick, Raynold and Richard Plourde.
