Class lunch

RUMFORD — Members of the Stephens High School Class of 1950 are invited to meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 16, at the River Valley Grill. All are welcome.

Society meeting

MEXICO — The Mexico Historical Society will meet Tuesday, Aug. 24, at the museum. There will be a picnic at 5:30 p.m. and hot dogs will be provided. Attendees should brings salads, desserts or a meal to share. A business meeting will follow at 6 p.m.

The speaker will be Norm Vashaw, who will share some of his collections of old stories. The historical society museum is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays. the public is welcome.

Class dinner

WELD — The Stephens High School Class of 1945 will dine at 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, at the Kawanhee Inn. Those who plan to attend should call Connie at 364-8785 or Muriel at 545-2709.

Nickel beano

DIXFIELD — All are welcome to play nickel beano every Monday night at Swasey Torrey Post 100. Doors open at 4 p.m. with beano being played from 6 to 9 p.m. The game benefits the Neighborly Senior Citizens and Swasey Torrey Post 100 S.A.L.
