MECHANIC FALLS — Down East Country Music Association will hold its annual awards show on Sunday, Aug. 29, at the Silver Spur.

The event will run from noon to 5 p.m. Entertainment will be provided throughout the afternoon. There will be a food bar, a 50/50 drawing and raffles.

Admission is $7 for the general public, $4 for competitors.
