FARMINGTON — Lady Luck came to the Franklin County Animal Shelter as a stray, said shelter staff. Upon first arrival she was limping on her rear right leg. They do not know what happened to her and she has continued limping but gets along nicely.

Staff members said she is great with other cats and would do well in a home where she can get the affection she wants and deserves. Lady Luck loves to cuddle and can often be found running around the shelter’s second cat room trying to pounce on the rogue dust bunny.

The shelter is also looking for anyone with a barn who might be interested in the barn cat program. The shelter has many feral cats that would be great mousers and are familiar with the barn life.
