Flu clinic

KINGFIELD — The Mt. Abram Regional Health Center, 25 Depot St., will hold three flu clinics in October, open to anyone who wants a flu shot (while supplies last). There will be a charge of $10 for the vaccine for everyone.

The clinics will be from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5; from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19; and from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27.

Insurances will not be billed. Call 265-4555 for more information.

College planning

JAY — Jay High School will host a postsecondary planning presentation for parents of seniors at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, in the school library. High school Guidance Counselor Ryan Soucie and Gear Up Advisor Amy Gatchell will present information about postsecondary planning for seniors and their parents and will discuss the various resources and tools available in the guidance office.

In addition, admissions representatives from various colleges will be present to discuss the admission process and deadlines to watch for. For further information, call the Jay High School Guidance Office at 897-4336, ext. 405.

Comedy Revue

LIVERMORE FALLS — Maine’s Paper and Heritage Museum will present a Comedy Revue, featuring “Marco and His Italian Aunts” and “Father Guido” at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at Murray Hall. All proceeds from the event will go to the museum.

Tickets, for $12, will be on sale at the museum beginning Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Apple Pumpkin Festival, at Otis Federal Credit Union or by calling 897-3117 after 5:30 p.m.
