AUBURN — The 60th wedding anniversary of George and Mary Bell of Auburn was celebrated on Friday, Sept. 3, with their immediate family.

Present to help them celebrate were Tom and Clair Bell of Farmington, Richard and Kathy Bell Huber of Waterville and their children, Dan from New York City and Kristen from Boston, Lawrence and Joline Bell from Newmarket, N.H., and their children, David from New York City and Ryan from Newmarket, N.H., and John and Denise Bell and their children, Maeve and Nolan, all from Kennebunk.

The family celebrated the grand event with a champagne toast at their home in Auburn followed by a limousine ride to Sedgley Place in Greene, where they enjoyed each other’s company on the outside patio, followed by a celebration dinner, where they shared stories and toasts from their children and grandchildren as well as a video of their wedding.
