SANFORD — The fourth annual G.I. Dame’s USO-style Show will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, at the American Legion on Route 109 as a way of saying, “Thank you,” to all veterans for their service to our country.

News Channel 13’s Doug Rafferty will emcee the free event made possible through the efforts of more than 50 volunteers. Doors will open at 11 a.m. and the event will kick off at 11:30 with a buffet followed by music and dancing until about 5 p.m.

In the middle of the show, a special tribute will be made to all service man and women. Throughout the event there will be drawings for prizes donated by many companies and individuals from as far away as California. There will be a grand prize drawing for veterans only. People must be present to win prizes.

The show is open to any veteran and one guest each on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited space.
