LEWISTON — Rita Richardson, 75, of Lewiston, passed away on Friday, Oct. 15, at her home.
She was born in Lewiston on Aug. 14, 1935, a daughter of the late Philip and Olivette (Lemire) St. Pierre. She worked as a sales clerk for several years at Sears before retiring in 1995. She married Donald C. Richardson on July 25, 1959, with whom she had two children. They were later divorced. She attended local schools graduating from St. Dominic High School in 1953. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling with her friends. Later in life she found great pleasure in traveling, going to the beach and spending precious time with her family.
Rita is survived by two children, Holly Stock and her husband, Blake, of Plano, Texas, and her son, Court Richardson of Louisiana; two grandchildren, twin girls, Avery and Channing Stock; a sister, Irene Mavis and her husband, Dale, of Minnesota; her brothers, Leo St. Pierre and his wife, Anne, of Lewiston, Roger St. Pierre and his wife, Frankie, of Lewiston. She is also survived by a very special friend, Helene Gendell of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Phil, Robert (Pop) and Ray St.Pierre.
