PRESQUE ISLE — Daniel and Leah Girardin of Presque Isle were honored on Aug. 14 in observance of their 25th wedding anniversary. Daughters Darryl Ann and Kayla planned the surprise event, which was held at the home of the couple.

The couple was married on Aug. 24, 1985, at St. Mary’s Church in Presque Isle.

On Sept. 5 the couple came to Dixfield, where his mother and sisters, Jackie Kilbreth, Elaine Girardin and Nancy Crocker honored them, with family members attending.

Mr. Girardin is the son of Rita Girardin of Dixfield and the late Hector Girardin. He is an automotive technician.

Mrs. Girardin is the daughter of Vaughn and Earline Lamoreau of Portage Lake. She is a radiologist technician.
