SALEM, N.H. (AP) – A subcontractor who fell from a ride during a power outage at Canobie Lake Park was in good condition Monday night, a spokesman for the amusement park said.

The park closed early at 5:30 p.m. Sunday because of a thunderstorm and power outage. A few minutes later, a subcontractor who owns and operates the photo concession at the park was checking photo equipment on the Log Flume ride when he fell about 15 feet, said spokesman Chris Nicoli.

The accident is under investigation.
