Bridge results

AUBURN — The Lewiston-Auburn Duplicate Bridge Club met on Nov. 3 at Schooner Estates. Winners were: first, Fred Letourneau and David Lock; second, Rosemarie Goodwin and Jeanine Kivus.

Another game will be played at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10 at Schooner Estates. A partner is guaranteed at local games. For further information, call Lucille Theriault at 783-0431.

Dog obedience

AUBURN — The Great Falls Dog Obedience Club will start another six-week dog obedience class on Wednesday, Nov. 10. Dogs and puppies must be at least 3 1/2-months-old and vaccinated. The beginners class is at 6:30 p.m. and advanced at 7:30 p.m.

MS support

LEWISTON — The next MS Support Group and Caregivers meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, at the Lepage Conference Center, 99 Campus Ave. In honor of Caregivers’ Month, the group will have a potluck supper. BOWDOIN — The Bowdoin Community Giving Tree project is now accepting names for holiday gift giving needs. The annual program was created to assist families by providing Christmas gifts for children of Bowdoin.

Craft sale

TURNER — A bake sale and craft sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at the Turner Center Universalist Church, Route 117. Hot dogs, soup and punch will be available for lunch.
