The game times for Saturday’s high school football championship games have been set, and fans from Leavitt and Mountain Valley will have to be early risers to make the much-anticipated Class B clash.
“Super Saturday” at Fitzpatrick Stadium will kick off with the match-up between the unbeaten Hornets (11-0) and undefeated Falcons (11-0) starting at 11:06 a.m., the Maine Principals’ Association announced Monday morning.
The Class A championship between Cheverus (11-0) and Bangor (10-1) will follow at 2:30 p.m. The Class C title game between Stearns (11-0) and Yarmouth (11-0) will be the nightcap at 6 p.m.
Mountain Valley, Cheverus and Stearns will be the “home” teams, a designation which alternates each year.
Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $4 for students. One ticket is good for all three games, but anyone who leaves Fitzpatrick Stadium can’t re-enter without buying another ticket.
