LEEDS — The Leeds Historical Society has a variety of articles on sale which make good Christmas gifts.

The 2011 historical society calendar features 20 pages of vintage Leeds photograph. There are copies of Stinchfield’s 1901 History of Leeds for sale. Also for sale are replicas of the 1858 map of Leeds, suitable for framing and a good companion piece to the history There are a few pieces of the Leeds commemorative pottery for sale.

All are available at the Leeds Town Office or by calling Pam Bell at 933-4121.

Members of the historical society are engaged in a number of projects, ranging from sorting through the photograph collection, to organizing family collections, renovating the inside of the history center, developing a booklet for the school to use when studying “Our Community” and examining the items stored in the center attic.
