AUBURN — The YMCA has partnered with the Maine Winter Sports Center and Auburn Nordic Ski Association (ANSA) to provide an affordable way to stay active — as a family or individually — and enjoy the outdoors during the winter season.

Anyone three years and up is eligible for the Healthy Hometown Cross Country Ski Lease Program thru Maine Winter Sports Center. This offers a full set of cross country ski equipment (skis, boots, poles) for the entire season,

Fee is $55 with YMCA membership or $55 with Youth Learn To Ski program registration or $65 for Non-Member.

Registration is Sunday, Dec. 12 from noon to 2 p.m. in the YMCA Gymnasium. Enrollment and sizing will take place, and fees must be paid. Equipment distribution will take place Thursday, Dec. 16 from 5 tp 7 p.m. at the Y.
