AUGUSTA — Spectrum Generations has announced Kelly Liberty as the newest member of its Bridges Home Care Division. As a care manager, Liberty’s responsibilities include assisting veterans with the Veteran’s Independence Program (VIP), which focuses on helping veterans get the support they need to stay in their homes.
VIP is a self-directed health care program through the Veteran’s Administration in partnership with Spectrum Generation on available services in the veteran’s community. The intention is to maintain a person’s lifestyle at home and in the community rather than relying on nursing facility care.
Liberty, of Albion, is a licensed social worker, with a degree in psychology from Simmons College in Boston. Her previous experience was working with mentally ill adults for Catholic Charities and as a social worker in the Anson and Madison schools.
The public is invited to call the Spectrum Generation’s Consumer Helpline at 1-800-639-1553 or visit www.spectrumgenerations.org for more information.
