RUMFORD — A Community Networking Meeting, sponsored by the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition, will be held at noon Wednesday, Feb. 23, at the Rumford Community Home, 11 John F Kennedy Lane. A light lunch will be provided.
Carol Emery, coalition’s HMP manager, will present information on workplace wellness programs to help employers understand how investments in worksite health promotion/disease prevention can benefit both employers and employees.
Health promotion and disease prevention programs can improve productivity, recruitment and retention and worksite morale.
Other agenda items include community updates from the Healthy Communities as well as from other River Valley organizations.
