Cribbage results

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Feb. 17:

First: June Boisvert and Don Maillette; Second: Terry Chambers and Bob LeClair; Third: Betty Ames and Gerry Therrien; Fourth: Monique Nadeau and Louise Pelletier; Fifth: Andrea Metayer 2 player table.

Thomas College at LAHS

TURNER — A representative from Thomas College, Waterville, will visit Leavitt Area High School at 9:30 a.m. March 2. The representative will meet with students to discuss Thomas’ academic and sports programs, and its residential life opportunities. For more information about Thomas, visit www.thomas.edu.

History Barn open house

The next New Gloucester History Barn open house will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 5. In addition to the permanent display of antique vehicles and historic town photos, the special open house feature this month will be a display of old town reports. The barn, located behind the Town Hall on Route 231, is owned and operated by the New Gloucester Historical Society. The open house is free and open to the public.

KofC bean supper

LEWISTON — The Holy Cross Knights of Columbus Council 12652 will hold a bean supper from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, in the Holy Cross Church Hall, 1080 Lisbon St. Cost is $8 per person, $4 for children 12 years and under.
