Estelle R. Turnipseed

BRADENTON, Fla. – Estelle R. Turnipseed, 88, of Bradenton, Fla., passed away peacefully, into the arms of her Savior Jesus, at home on March 14, 2021.

She was preceded by her parents, Ludger and Yvonne Landry; brothers, Rudolf Landry and Richard Landry; and husband, George T. Turnipseed.

Estelle was a homemaker and loving mother of four daughters, Christine A. Pelletier of Bradenton, Fla., Diane Pepper Crary (Gary), Patricia Evans and Yvonne McLeland, all of Arlington, Texas. She leaves six grandchildren, Isaiah Crary, Josh Crary, Kimberly Evans, Aaron Evans, Stuart McLeland and Christopher McLeland; and six great-grandchildren, Cody, Austin, Tyler, Aiden, Corey and Noella. Estelle is also survived by her sister, Simone Mathieu of Lewiston, and brother, Regis Landry of West Paris.

Estelle loved gardening, fishing and playing games. She had the opportunity to visit three other countries during her lifetime, Canada, Mexico, and Kenya.

Born in Auburn, in 1932, Estelle was “born again” in 1971 and remained deeply in love with her Lord for the rest of her life. Every morning she could be found reading her Bible and faithfully praying for her family with great devotion. Both she and her prayers will be greatly missed.
