LEWISTON — A story on Page A1 on Wednesday incorrectly identified Central Maine Power plans affected by a Public Utilities Commission decision. The PUC on Tuesday rejected a power line upgrade that would have built a new power substation on Middle Street and connected it to existing substations at Gulf Island and in southern Lewiston. A proposed Larrabee Road substation was approved in June 2010 as part of the Maine Power Reliability Program. The information was incorrectly reported by the Sun Journal.
Correction: Substation misidentified
