Haley has been with the Sun Journal sports department since November 2023. She graduated from Occidental College in Los Angeles in May 2022 with a degree in international relations. Haley also played lacrosse for the Tigers, so naturally, her love of sports led her to pursue a permanent sports journalism role. Before her move to Maine, she previously worked as a general assignment reporter in Lancaster, S.C., covering education, city council, crime and business. Haley is a native southerner, born and raised in Alpharetta, Georgia, so donโt be surprised when she slips the occasional โyโallโ into her interview questions.
