T-Mobile customers in Maine get false alarm about statewide 911 outage
The erroneous alert went out to cellphones on the T-Mobile network around 2:45 p.m. A notification 20 minutes later advised Maine residents that the alert was a false alarm stemming from a temporary outage in Massachusetts.
