Olympia’s world record height still stands after 15 years
Olympia, built in 2008 in honor of U.S. Sen. Olympia Snowe, surpassed Angus, King of the Mountain, which was built in 1999, by 9 feet as Bethel broke Bethel’s own record.
Project Opportunity asks ‘Could we do better?’
Besides individual requests, Project Opportunity has funded groups of students traveling to foreign countries and attending enrichment programs. They back the Telstar Freshmen Academy trip to Washington, DC and the boys and girls state delegates.
Bethel Early Learning to close Feb. 24
