    Amina Abdi and Abdikadir Abayle sort donated clothes Thursday at AK Health and Social Services in Lewiston. Donated clothes from community members will be available for Afghan refugees that could possibly make the Lewiston and Auburn areas their home. "We have been doing laundry for three days," Abdi said about the large number of donations received once word got out that the refugees may need clothes. Abdi is the executive director of Her Safety Net. Abayle is the Iman at the Masjidul Salaam Mosque on Bartlett Street in Lewiston.
