A flush of pink oyster mushrooms grows Thursday out of a bag of inoculated wood chips at D&B Family Mushroom Farm in Auburn.
Andrew Dostie, right, and his uncle, Pat Bolduc, look at a bag of fruiting Italian oyster mushrooms Thursday in one of their growing rooms at D&B Family Mushroom Farm. The farm inoculates bags of wood chips with mushroom mycelium, and plan to offer fresh and dehydrated mushrooms, along with baked goods. Eventually, they would like to offer grow kits for customers to grow mushrooms at home.
