    Steve Reed, 77, of Auburn takes a piece of chocolate Tuesday from a mailbox on the marked snowshoe trails of the Auburn Nordic Ski Association. Volunteers with ANSA put chocolate in the boxes for children to snack on during Sunday afternoon ski lessons. Reed said he has only grabbed a piece of chocolate twice. "I hate to feel guilty about taking chocolate from the mouth of a child," said Reed.
