“Quixotic”Quixotic is bilingual in application. In Spanish, it refers to a type of traditional thigh armor. In English however, it became an adjective thanks to Cervantes and his story, Don Quixote. Quixotic describes as an adjective the traits of Cervantes’ character – impractical, idealistic and impulsive.
