Hockey: Maranacook tops Moose
KENTS HILL – Maranacook defeated the Kennebec Moose, 4-1, in peewee hockey at Alfond Arena. Zack Godbout scored two goals for Maranacook, with one each by Hunter Tims and Matt Welch. Godbout and Joey Baumann each had an assist. Cassidy Turgeon scored the Kennebec goal. Jason St. Pierre tended the net for Maranacook.
Softball: Evergreen rolls on
AUBURN – Evergreen Tech Group remained undefeated with a 7-2 victory over the Marauders in recent softball action. John Grabill led the offense, going 3-for-3. Joe Lock and Moe Gauthier both added two hits, each with a solo home run. Jeff Dion gained the pitching win.
