Kindergartner requests donations for Greater Androscoggin Humane Society pets in lieu of gifts
Mackenzie Johndro of Poland presented the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society with the donations from her fifth birthday on Aug. 29. Mackenzie, a kindergarten student at Poland Community School, asked for donations for the pets in lieu of birthday gifts. Partygoers donated pet food, treats and cleaning supplies. Cheering up the animals
The Gray-New Gloucester Diamond Cheering Squad visited the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society on Aug. 28. Before visiting with the animals, they presented a donation of blankets, towels, pet food and treats to help keep the shelter’s homeless animals comfortable.
