Five of the Blue Devils’ goals come from either freshmen or sophomores. Cam Plourde, a freshman, has two tallies while Aizyk Laliberte, a sophomore, has a goal and two assists.

Dick Leavitt, a two-sport star and football coach, has died
After attending Edward Little and Hebron, Leavitt became an All-American shot putter and played a couple of NFL games before returning to Maine to be a coach and teacher.

Drouin sets meet record in the 55-meter dash and secures championships in the 55 hurdles and 200 dash. The Lewiston boys finish second. Skowhegan’s Billy Albertson, Marshwood’s Andre Clark and South Portland’s Arnaud Sioho also set records.
