Chesterville voters choose 3 new selectpersons in municipal elections

Two incumbents did not seek election and one resigned this month.

In the Weld municipal elections Tuesday, there was only one contested race.

One Select Board candidate recently withdrew, Town Clerk Melissa “Missy” Letarte said.

Municipal elections are held during the Maine primary to save money and see greater voter turnout.

Elections and town meeting are set for March 25 at the Community Center, 127 Middle St.
