Junior hockey notebook: Maine Nordiques get approval for an NA3HL franchise
The Maine Nordiques will have a Tier III junior hockey team that plays in the NA3HL in addition to their current Tier II team that plays in the NAHL. Also, a Nordiques goalie commits to UConn and the Twin City Thunder sign two forwards for next season.

The NAHL has approved South Carolina-based Shift Sports & Entertainment as the team's new ownership group. Darryl Antonacci, who founded the Nordiques in 2019, will maintain ownership of The Colisee.
