UMF professor and team receive grant from NASA
Dr. Andrew Barton, Professor of Biology at the University of Maine at Farmington, and his team of scientists will be trekking the Arizona ponderosa pine forest to monitor its ecosystems and compare their data to NASA's ECOSTRESS, a thermal instrument on the International Space Station.

Broccoli takes over UMF dining hall
UMaine and Sodexo celebrated an initiative to have locally grown broccoli frozen and served in their dining halls during the winter by having broccoli specific dishes served to their students on Tuesday, Jan. 31.

New Sweatt-Winter building on schedule
UMF's new Sweatt-Winter Child Care and Early Education Center is on schedule to be open in early summer. The space is double the size of the previous space and will have more room for kids in the program as well as a space for graduates and undergraduates.
