Lisbon voters pass school budget

LISBON — Voters on Tuesday approved the school budget by a vote of 213-164.  The 2017-18 spending plan is $15.74 million, a $409,967 increase over last year’s budget.  Thirty-four voters thought the new budget was too low, and 138 thought it was too high. The main areas of increase are regular instruction, transportation and buses.
