Kelsey Smith, daughter of Jim and Karol Smith of Otisfield, received her associates degree in fashion merchandising with highest honors from Fisher College in Boston, Mass. on May 15.

Hannah Sawyer of Lovell, a sophomore, has been placed on the dean’s commendation list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring 2010 semester at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. Students with a quality point average of 3.33 or higher for a semester’s work are placed on the list.
