Chesterville woman earns veterinary degree

CHESTERVILLE — Dr. Jessica Gramlich received her doctor of veterinary medicine degree from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Kelsey Rioux, daughter of Sue and Michael Rioux of Durham, graduated on May 17 during commencement at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Geneva, N.Y. Rioux graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics and environmental studies, magna cum laude. She also studied in London.

Rita Rothschild Fleming, daughter of Wendy Fleming of Phillips, has graduated from George Washington University as a doctor of medicine. Before medical school, she attended Strong Elementary School, Mt. Abram High School and Yale University. Presently she is a resident in pediatric medicine at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
