Kelsey Rioux of Durham received a bachelor’s degree during commencement ceremonies at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Geneva, N.Y., on May 17. Rioux, the child of Michael Rioux, majored in economics and environmental studies and received a degree magna cum laude. The graduate studied abroad in London.

 Rebecca Roy, daughter of Paul F. and Jeannine A. Roy of Lewiston, was named to the president’s list for the autumn 2008 semester at Plymouth State University, Plymouth, N.H. She is majoring in law and criminal justice, with a double minor in statistics and psychology. She plans to graduate May 2010.

Ashley Ann Roy, daughter of Shawn and Roseann Roy and granddaughter of Peggy Roy, all of Auburn, and Polly Knightly of St. Johnsbury, Vt., graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of science degree in human ecology. Roy will reside in Pittsburgh, Penn. She is a 2004 graduate of Edward Little High School.

Cara E. Pavlak of Auburn graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., on May 17, with honors in general scholarship, with honors in international studies: African, and with minors in French language and human rights. The graduate was also inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.

Cameron P. Fry of Jay was named to the dean’s list at Penn State Erie, the Behrend College, for the spring semester. Fry is studying communication. Behrend’s dean’s list recipients must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average for the semester in which they are awarded.
