Many of us have read with great interest Lewiston’s plans for a peaceful response to the white supremacy groups coming to visit this weekend. However many of us can not attend the peace rally.
To show our support every house in Maine should light an outside candle on Friday, Jan. 10, between 8 and 8:30 p.m. What a wonderful sight to have the entire state aglow with candles of peace.
The city of Lewiston needs to know that they are not in this alone.
With grace and time and money they have tried to welcome people to our state. Let us show them that in their time of need they are not alone.
