AUBURN — Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, at the American Legion Hall, Washington Street. The board of directors will meet at 10. An Easter dinner will be prepared and served under the direction of Lucien Marcoux. Members are requested to bring their own silverware and cup.

At the last meeting on March 26, 81 members were present, led by the president, Audrey Fleming. Two new members joining were Joseph and Irene Breton of Sabattus. Trip Chairwoman Evelyn Sawin reported a trip is scheduled June 13 to Foster’s Lobster House, York, for $40. She is also taking reservations for a trip to Indian Head Resort, Lincoln, N.H., on Dec. 5. New member Irene Breton gave an account of her upcoming trips as follows: Silver Sizzle in Randolph, Mass., with Bob Goss on April 17 at Wrentham, Mass., ($59); Lawrence Welk Show at Luciano’s on Lake Pearl in Wrentham, Mass., May 16 ($61); Country Hoedown, pickup at Holy Rosary Church on June 12 ($31); Rocking Horse Ranch Resort, Sept. 15 to 19 ($460); and Holiday Jubilee with Philadelphia Mummers at Mohegan Sun Casino, Dec. 1 and 2 ($159). March birthdays were acknowledged. Attendance prize winners were Eleanor Jewel and Muriel Landry; pot of gold, Merry Strout, Muriel Landry and Nancy Roy.

OES meeting

AUBURN — Pine Cone Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St. Members will discuss upcoming events and the community project. All members are invited. Refreshments will be served in the dining hall after the meeting.

Grange program

AUBURN — In celebration of National Grange Month, Danville Grange 65 will hold an open meeting on Thursday, April 10, at the grange. Dessert will be served at 6:30 p.m. followed by the program at 7:30.

The Wesleyan Singers of the Auburn United Methodist Church will perform. Membership certificates will be presented by State Grange Master Steve Verrill. State Grange Lecturer Rick Grotton has also been invited.

Appreciation certificates as well as a Community Service Award will be presented. All are welcome.

MECHANIC FALLS — Tyrian Lodge 73, AF and AM, 474 South Main St., will meet on Thursday, April 10. A 6:30 p.m. supper will be followed by the lodge opening at 7:30. A business meeting and program will follow.

Council 160 supper

AUBURN — Twin City Council 160, United Commercial Travelers of America, will meet at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at the Odd Fellows Hall, Elm Street. A potluck supper will be served at the close of the meeting. Members and guests are welcome.
