FARMINGTON – Funeral services for Michael “Mike,” “Jacques,” Kiernan of Farmington were held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. from the Wiles Funeral Home, Cremation Service and Bereavement Center, 137 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington, with Rev. John Gensel officiating. Members of the Roderick Crosby American Legion Post 28, of Farmington, conducted a special memorial service on Friday evening, at the conclusion of visitation. Special music included: “Keeper of the Stars,” his daughter, Kristy singing to “Wind Beneath My Wings” and Garth Brooks, “The Dance.” Following services, a family reception was held at the Elks Lodge, West Farmington. Full military honors were provided at the committal services on Tuesday, April 8, at the new Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Mt. Vernon Annex, Augusta, by members of the Frank L. Mitchell VFW Post 3335 and the Lane Dube Amvets Post 33, both of Jay. They were Eugen Pomerleau, Arthur Oullette, Dick Moreau, Dick Therrien, Gerald Toothaker, Bernard Gray, Richard Dupont, Dick Smith, Neree Simoneau, Roland Giguere, Gerard Richard, John Dube, Don LeSeur, Charlie Stinger, Roland Therrien, Wally Tripp, and Laurent Brochu.
