A few weeks ago, a mentor from Bates College who comes to my school asked me about this war with Iraq.
He said “Didn’t Jesus say turn the other cheek?” I said, “Well if you turn your cheek on the war, you’re turning your cheek on the Iraqi people’s hope for freedom.”
