LEWISTON – The third annual education day, sponsored by the Maine Chapter of the National Association of Investors Corp., will be 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Lewiston-Auburn College on Westminster Street.

The keynote address will be “At the Crossroads: Safety and Opportunity” by Debbie Galarneau of Merrill Lynch.

David H. Chute of the Maine Bank & Trust Co. will give a report about “The Bull, the Bear and the Investor.”

In addition, people will be able to attend one 60- or 90-minute workshop.

To preregister by April 20, people can send a check payable to the Maine Chapter for $30 a person, which includes continental breakfast and a buffet lunch, to the Maine Chapter, P.O. Box 4526, Portland ME 04112.

After April 21, the fee will be $35.
