1962 – 2003

BUTNER, N.C. – Richard Dean Devlin, 40, of Lewiston, died after a short but courageous fight with cancer on Monday, April 14.

Born in Lewiston on Sept. 18, 1962, the son of Cheryl Rancourt and Gary Devlin. “Rick” worked in local area auto body shops as a mechanic and body man.

His hobbies included, fishing, tattooing, his children and keeping us on our toes.

Survivors include one daughter, Jacinta Devlin; one son, Adam Rivard Devlin; his mother, Cheryl Rancourt; his father, Gary Devlin; his stepmom, Monique Devlin; one brother, Ronald Dale Devlin; two stepbrothers, Roger and Rodney Rossignol; one stepsister, Lisa de Bona Paula; two aunts; two nieces, Megan Rachel, and Veronica Marie; and one grandmother, Frances Devlin.

He was predeceased by a maternal grandmother, Minnie Greaton; and a grandfather, Richard Samual Devlin.
