1918 – 2003

PORTLAND – Rita H. Breault, 84, widow of Ernest Breault, Sr., of Mexico and Buxton, died Tuesday, April 15, at St. Joseph Manor.

Born in Wilton, July 18, 1918, the daughter of Ray and Willma Frost Tebbetts Harmon, she attended Dixfield High School and was a member of the Class of 1936.

She was a homemaker and resided in Mexico most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Church and was a member of the Dixfield Senior Citizens. For the past few years she had lived in Buxton.

She loved her family dearly, enjoyed flowers and will be remembered as one of the world’s great shoppers.

Survivors include two sons, E. Thomas Breault, Jr. of Buxton and Dexter Breault of Brattleboro, Vt.; two daughters, Mrs. Normand (Jean Ann) Comptois of Brattleboro, Vt. and Mrs. Erwin (Anita) Merrill of Westbrook; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Clarine Bouthot, a cousin, Merdith Adams and a brother and sister-in-law, J. Lionel and Cecile Breault.
