AUBURN – Anna Eisenstein of Auburn, a senior at Edward Little High School, has been selected to receive the 2003 Principal’s Award, Assistant Principal, Leslie Morrill announces. The award, sponsored by the Maine Principal’s Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.

Eistenstein is an outstanding student and athlete who has gained the respect of her entire school community, said Morrill. She excels in the classroom where her academic strengths are displayed in all subjects. As a three-sport athlete she also has led her teams with her quiet deameanor and her ability to lead by example.

Her dedication to her school and her community is seen through her involvement in helping others — from Special Olympics to the Soup Kitchen, Morrill said. She is an exceptional all-around student.

She and Morrill attended an Honors Luncheon at the Bangor Civic Center.
