1904 – 2003

LEWISTON- Graziella V. Lowell, 99, of Seville Park Plaza, 200 Stetson Road, Auburn, died Friday, April 18, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center following a short illness.

She was born in Berlin, N.H. on April 6, 1904 the daughter of Napoleon and Filomene Thibodeau Villeneuve and had been a resident of this community for most of her life.

She was employed in the local shoe industry as a repairer until her retirement in 1972.

She married Henri Delorge, who died in 1933. She then married Richard Lowell who died in 1992.

She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church, Ladies of St. Ann and the Lewiston Senior Citizens.

Mrs. Lowell enjoyed going to the movies and spending time with her children.

She is survived by one son, David Lowell and his wife Diane; three daughters, Madeleine Reny and her husband Gerard of Lewiston, Betty-June Olson and her husband Raymond of Jacksonville, Fla., and Monique Bodily of Layton, Utah; one step-daughter, Marie Tancrel of Lewiston; 25 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was predeceased by her first husband Henri Delorge who died in 1933 and her second husband Richard Lowell who died in 1992; one son, Richard P. Lowell who died in 1977; and one step-daughter, Olive Mckay who died in 1979.
