1925 – 2003
AUBURN – Joan B. Saucier, 77, of 170 Blanchard Road, died Monday, April 21, at her residence with her family by her side.
She was born in Auburn, July 25, 1925, the daughter of Richard and Eleanor (MacLean) Burrows. She was educated in the schools of Auburn. She graduated from Edward Little High School the class of 1943. She married Roland R. Saucier Nov. 16, 1946 in Auburn.
She retired from New England Tel & Tel after 25 years as an operator and clerk. She was a member of the New England Pioneers, the extension service and St. Michael’s Episcopal Church. She enjoyed her family, Square Dancing, gardening and crafts.
She is survived by her husband; one son, William and wife Lucille of Auburn; one daughter, Patricia Touchette of Wilmington, Del.; one sister, Connie Records of Auburn; five grandchildren, Kelly, Jennifer, Kimberly, Jeremy and Kristina; three great-grandchildren, Justin, Alex and Aiyana; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Sally Dubois.
